I’m a recent graduate of the UX Design Institute's Professional Certificate in UI Design. Through a series of theory based modules, hands-on exercises and project work, I developed a strong foundation in understanding the fundamentals in UI elements and design systems and understanding the role of UI design in the UX process. Learning Figma, applying grid systems with strong alignment, I produced 9 responsive screen UI designs for a fictitious banking app, as a course requirement. The brief was to communicate 3 qualities: Clear, Playful & Trustworthy. I built a colour system with a brand name and used graphic imagery to communicate the brand personality. Menu design with clean typography, iconography and focusing on high consistency, earned a 89% result. I am eager to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, continuously learn from industry experts, and contribute my creativity and fresh perspective to innovative design projects.
